Tip. Pour. Shout.

Have you ever felt like you were overwhelmed with life? Did you feel like you were about to tip over? Are you afraid of what will pour out if you did?

I have felt the same way.

We stuff all the negative details of life down, pack it away, and keep pushing down the trash to pack more in. This will grieve your spirit. We are to guard our heart and keep it clean from all impurities.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

These recent thoughts inspired my journal entry:

“I’m a little teapot ready to spout.

Thank You for taking away all my doubt.

Spout. Shout.

Shout away the doubt.

Pour me out. Pour me out.

Just keep pouring and I’ll do the sorting.

Just keep pouring it out and I’ll sort out the doubt until all you can do is shout.”

“Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah”

Psalms 62:8 NKJV

Our Father in heaven is not afraid when we tip over our spout. He is waiting for us to pour it all out so He can sort through our doubts. He isn’t disappointed in our doubts, but is looking for a soul ready to lean toward Him. God has gifted us with so much within. His truth and power is waiting for us to win the battle. May we be consistently intentional on pouring ourselves out to our Heavenly Father.

What will happen? We will awaken each day with a desire to raise our hands and hearts to heaven with a shout of praise!

“Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee.”

Psalms 126:5 TPT

Our shouts of praise may only come after we cry out to the Father to release the doubts, disappointments, fears, and unforgiveness of yesterday. Our new day of tomorrow will be filled with glee that will bring joy, gladness, happiness, and peace, and this true peace will give us all a release.

My prayer for you and me is to declare over ourselves,

“Father, bring Your shout of glee upon us.

Your shout of glee radiates and beams because of Thee.

May our glee from Thee run wild and free for all to see.”

Thanks for reading and remember, we can always bring our cheer and smile from ear to ear.
